TOBI New Features Image

XenLogic is constantly adding new features and functionality to our TOBI line of products.  We work very closely with our customers to determine what features are the most important for helping run their businesses more effectively. Have a look at the list below to see our most recent updates and additions.

Recent TOBI Additions:

Integration with Microsoft Outlook

TOBI is now fully integrated with Microsoft Outlook, which allows you to streamline the management and communication of Calendar Events, Tasks and Contacts between both programs. This ensures that important information in Outlook and TOBI is synchronized and up-to-date. Outlook integration can also be used to communicate and coordinate project details, tasks, contact information and calendar events with Outlook users who do not have TOBI.

TOBI can also use Outlook to update and dispatch data to other TOBI databases, so multiple TOBI databases can be synchronized via email. Coupled with TOBI’s Auto Processing Scheduler and Autopilot utilities, you can instruct TOBI to regularly extract selected information from your database and dispatch it by email to other TOBI databases anywhere in the world. The opposite is true, as well; TOBI can periodically check your Outlook Inbox for data dispatches from other TOBI users and selectively import up-to-date information. These features allow you to synchronize information across the globe via email, and coordinate information among TOBI and Outlook users alike.

TOBI's Email Data Dispatch

One of TOBI’s most unique new features is its ability to exchange data via email. This tool lets you create a virtual TOBI network that continuously and automatically updates business information using only an email account.  TOBI’s Email Data Dispatch is ideal for people who operate in different locations but are not linked by network connections or servers. Individuals can input information separately while constantly updating one another’s databases.

The process is very simple. TOBI exports information from its database to an XML format, creates a manifest of what is being exported, and sends an email data dispatch to other TOBI users anywhere in the world. When the email is received, TOBI will decipher what is in the manifest and immediately upload the attached information into its database. Data security concerns are alleviated with basic email encryption.
